The 2019 Congressional Innovation Fellows are:
Aaron Barruga served as a Green Beret in Army Special Forces and started his own company working as a counter-terrorism consultant supporting law enforcement and DoD agencies.
Leisel Bogan has deep expertise in cybersecurity, information security, emerging technologies and privacy, and broad expertise in geopolitical risk, political economy and international institutions with a regional emphasis on East Asia, EU/Eurasia, and MENA. Former CoS to Condoleezza Rice, and member of geopolitical consulting firm RiceHadleyGates, LLC.
Allison Hutchings is a former senior project engineer, with expertise in digital systems, privacy and cybersecurity, from ATA Engineering who worked on the design and analysis of satellites, launch vehicles, military tents, roller coasters, and advanced engineering software, with prior experience at Blue Origin and the NASA Langley Research Center.
Eric Mill is a former senior leader at U.S. General Services Administration and its 18F team who oversaw Login.gov, a government-wide service offering secure, private authentication to millions of people accessing public services.
Maggi Molina is a former Air Force radar technician and attorney who has spent the last three years creating programs to help the military community gain technology and entrepreneurial skills, with an emphasis on GI Bill approval for code schools.
Emily Paul is a former user experience researcher at Salesforce, who helped lead its Ethical and Humane Use initiative, with deep experience in privacy and data collection, algorithmic decision making, and rural internet, and former fellow from the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity at UC Berkeley.
Frank Reyes is a former U.S. Navy Electronics Technician and head of ammunition acquisition in the U.S. Navy. Served as a Senior Relationship Manager for Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) applying emerging technologies to commercial business data.
Nate Wilkins is a former Navy SEAL and Information Systems Technician who became a Technical Subject Matter Expert in his 11 years of Active Duty.

We are bridging the divide between Congress and the technology sector by placing tech savvy individuals to serve with Members of Congress and Congressional Committees in order to train cross-sector leaders—who can understand the challenges of government and in the technology community—and build capacity in Congress. FAQs
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event and where is the room located?
Parking near the Capitol is limited and we recommend taking public transportation (the closest metro station is Union Station stop on the Red line) or an Uber, Lyft or taxi.
We'll be located on the Senate side in the Dirksen Senate Office Building in room G11.
