Trishala Chaudhary, Department of Energy

Trishala serves in the Department of Energy’s Office of Critical and Emerging Technologies, leading high-impact initiatives that leverage AI and emerging technologies to strengthen national security, drive scientific discovery, and enhance energy resilience in support of U.S. innovation and global competitiveness.

Ben Edelman, Center for AI Standards and Innovation

Ben Edelman is a computer scientist and AI researcher. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Princeton University.

Ben is serving at the Center for AI Standards and Innovation where he leads the Agent Security team.

Candace Moix, Center for AI Standards and Innovation

Candace Moix is an AI Security Fellow serving the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families. She specializes in national security, cybersecurity, and trust and safety. She has worked with the NSA, Recorded Future, and Krebs Stamos Group, and teaches at the University of Maryland’s START center. She holds advanced degrees from University of Pittsburgh, King’s College London, and University of Tulsa.

Jason Liang, Center for AI Standards and Innovation

Jason Liang is a Member of Technical Staff at the National Institute of Standards and Technology Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI), where he partners with frontier AI developers and interagency partners to evaluate AI systems for national security risks. Before CAISI, he was a tech policy fellow in the House of Representatives and a product manager at Scale AI.

Peter Cihon, Center for AI Standards and Innovation

Peter Cihon is an experienced technology policy professional. He previously led AI and cybersecurity policy at GitHub, where he advocated for developers, open source, and innovation globally. He has published research on numerous AI-related topics, including productivity measurement, standardization, risk assessment, agent governance, and labor impacts.

Kweku Kwegyir-Aggrey, Center for AI Standards and Innovation

Kweku Kwegyir-Aggrey is a researcher with a PhD from Brown University who studies how to evaluate AI systems. He brings experience from leading tech companies like IBM and Adobe. He works with the Center for AI Standards and Innovation on measuring the capabilities of large AI systems.
