Jason Liang is a technologist who is dedicated to promoting American leadership in AI, with a focus on driving innovation across a range of public sector use cases, from education to healthcare, that benefits all Americans.
Prior to joining CAISI, Jason was a tech policy fellow in the House of Representatives, where he worked on issues including AI infrastructure funding for scientific research and AI incident reporting. At Scale AI, he worked with agencies such as the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) and Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to build and deploy mission-focused machine learning solutions as a staff product manager for Scale AI’s Public Sector Data Engine. He also founded and led Scale’s data collection product and worked as a product manager and full stack engineer on computer vision. Jason holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from MIT.
In his free time, Jason enjoys hiking, camping, and backpacking, and has visited 59 of the 63 national parks in the US.
