Shourya Jain

Shourya Jain is a technologist and a product manager interested in leveraging data and AI to strengthen American infrastructure. He is particularly passionate about policies and technologies that enhance the resilience and efficiency of the energy grid.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Washington, Seattle (UW) where he collaborated with the Information & Communication Technologies and Development lab to build an application for the Ugandan Ministry of Health to manage vaccine cold chain deployments. While at UW, Shourya also founded Impact++, an organization that connected computer science students with non-profits in the Seattle area to build technical solutions addressing local challenges.

After graduating, Shourya joined Microsoft as a Product Manager, where he developed features for the Azure AI platform to enable enterprises to efficiently train and deploy large machine learning models. More recently, he served as the lead Product Manager at Neufin, building a platform to direct investment towards carbon and energy projects in the global south.

In his free time, Shourya enjoys hiking, snowboarding, working on his car, and experimenting with his favorite recipes in the kitchen.
