Frances schroeder
Frances is a cyber policy researcher passionate about leveraging policy to promote secure and trustworthy technology. Frances recently received her M.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University, and she holds a B.S. from Stanford in Symbolic Systems, an interdisciplinary program that combines computer science, psychology, linguistics, and philosophy, with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction.
At Stanford, Frances was a research assistant at the Stanford Internet Observatory and a Defense Innovation Scholar at the Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation. Frances previously interned with the State Department’s Bureau for Cyberspace and Digital Policy and the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative.
During her time on Capitol Hill, Frances is interested in working on a wide range of cybersecurity topics, including software liability, cyber implications for national security, and data privacy.
Frances is working for Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) on national security issues.
