Senate Banking Committee Minority Staff
Prior to the Congressional Innovation Fellowship, Jennie was a cybersecurity researcher for Cisco where she assessed products for hardware and software vulnerabilities. Her projects also included digital forensics evaluations in cases of tampered devices.
Jennie’s passion for education has pushed her to develop and deliver cybersecurity workshops across the U.S. at a variety of events, from summer camps to industry conferences. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and Georgia Tech, respectively.
Jennie served with the Senate Banking Committee minority staff under Ranking Member Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and supported work on cybersecurity, privacy, and financial technology issues.
In Spring 2021, Jennie joined the Congressional Digital Service for a limited engagement to serve the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress and the Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds in the U.S. House of Representatives.
