Katherine Pratt

Katherine Pratt is an MIT-educated aerospace engineer who served four years as an officer in the US Air Force, primarily as an engineer working on operational readiness of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. She has also interned and worked for the private space company Blue Origin, where she specialized in space systems engineering and propulsion engineering.  She is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Washington in Electrical Engineering, studying the security, ethics, and policy of brain computer interfaces.  In addition to her academic research, she is interested in constitutional rights in the digital domain; in the summer of 2017 she interned through the Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project with the ACLU of Washington.

Katherine served with Rep. Suzan Delbene (D-WA) supporting on security and privacy issues.
