Noam Kantor
Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation
Noam Kantor is a mathematician and technologist. He is interested in civic tech, technology ethics, and technology policy - particularly antitrust and algorithmic bias. As a 2019 Civic Digital Fellow, Kantor developed novel methods for data forensics at the US Census Bureau. His organization Jewish Digital Future aims to serve as a hub for Jewish thinkers at the intersection of religious thought, technology, and society.
Noam holds a bachelors and masters in mathematics from Emory University and recently concluded his doctorate at Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar. Outside of work, he enjoys singing, cooking, and community-building.
Noam is serving with the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation staff under Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) working with the Consumer Protection Subcommittee.
