Since our founding, we have committed to centering diversity, equity, and inclusion in all of our work. Thanks to these efforts, our 2022 class had the most diverse pool of applications in our history.
Heading into the 2022 recruitment cycle, we continued outreach to underrepresented groups in tech policy and politics, including women and non-binary individuals, people of color, LGBTQ+ people, and veterans. As part of this effort, we, for the third year in a row, offered our diversity referral award to individuals who referred successful fellowship applicants to TechCongress.
