Divya is a data scientist interested in closing gaps in access and equity caused by technology deployment. She believes that the federal government can play a vital role in ensuring that the benefits of technological innovation continue to outweigh the harms.
Most recently, she was a senior research analyst at The Brattle Group, where she helped a wide array of public and private sector clients make decisions informed by complex and varied sources of data. Her work included analyzing econometrics for technology antitrust litigation, creating big data pipelines for consumer protection and white collar crime investigations, and defining robust data collection processes for pro-bono clients.
Divya holds a B.S. in Computer Science, Economics, and Data Science from MIT, where she was involved in the start-up ecosystem and created resources to encourage student-led innovation.
