Evan Straka is a UX researcher and product strategist with a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, user experience, and public policy. He has led research on digital products across federal agencies, nonprofits, and civic tech organizations—including HHS, NIH, CDC, HUD, the American Arbitration Association, and U.S. Digital Response—where his work has improved digital service delivery, usability, and equitable access to public resources.
Evan’s recent work spans human-AI interaction, government modernization, and public health communication. He has designed and executed qualitative studies, usability testing programs, large-scale thematic analyses, and data-driven product strategy recommendations that have materially shaped websites, mobile apps, and AI-enabled tools.
Evan began his career in financial and data analysis at Wells Fargo and Freddie Mac before transitioning into UX research and public sector product development. He holds an M.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in International Relations & Latin American Studies from the College of William & Mary.
