Ishvaraus davis
Ishvaraus is an engineering leader, investor, entrepreneur, and advocate for social equity with a hunger to serve the public interest. He currently works at Meta leading a team at the intersection of engineering and ads strategy for large technology and financial services companies. As the B2B and Lead Generation subject matter expert, Ishvaraus has led and launched several highly impactful projects that have touched millions of advertisers and over a billion users across Facebook and Instagram. Previous to this, he worked as a software engineer within IBM where he focused on utilizing machine learning to bolster the security infrastructure of their hybrid cloud product.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Ishvaraus has focused his energy on making impactful community contributions. He’s worked on creating a grassroots organization in his hometown of Waycross, Georgia to drive political engagement and improve economic outcomes for underserved citizens. This organization was derived from experiences with programs like YCore & Code2040 where Ishvaraus mentored youth, created programs, & advocated for positive change. More recently, he partnered with the University of Pittsburgh to create the Minority Association in Computing and, in addition, was a founding member of the School of Computing and Information Alumni Board.
Ultimately, Ishvaraus plans to leverage his experience and connections to create a community-centric organization that utilizes technology and policy to redefine the life prospects for the people in his community.
Ishvaraus is serving Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY-16), working on a variety of issues such as AI use and ethics, the future of work, federal IT modernization, and the future of transportation.
