Kent Keil is a technology leader who brings a decade of national security experience to Congress. Kent is dedicated to improving the quality of support for service members and veterans through emerging technology.
Most recently, he supported the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where he advised senior leaders on operational digital transformation initiatives. Prior to the Pentagon, Kent served in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he rose from rifleman to communications and signals officer, earning an early promotion to Captain. In his final Marine Corps assignment, he led enterprise IT operations, unifying cloud, systems, and networking teams into a single operations center to improve the experience of 200,000 customers.
Kent holds an M.A. in Global Policy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Iowa, and numerous industry certifications.
