Matthew mcmillan
Matthew is a software developer passionate about technology policy. Matthew brings deep knowledge of the software development process and familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and practices from his time in the industry. Prior to his enrollment as a Congressional Innovation Fellow, he was a software developer at a company which sells data processing software to Fortune 500 companies. He is dedicated to promoting vibrant competition in the technology sector to preserve choice for consumers and businesses. He is also interested in combating scams that use technology to defraud Americans.
Matthew graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. In addition to English, he also speaks Russian and Spanish fluently, and is currently learning Mandarin Chinese.
