Ro Encarnacion
Ro Encarnacion is a technologist interested in policy questions at the intersection of algorithmic fairness, markets, and society. She is passionate about using informed policy change and regulation to counteract discrimination, bias, and digital equity issues in technology, especially for historically marginalized communities.
Previously, Ro was a social impact engineer at Stanford University working on a tool for equity in representation across media and journalism. She has also volunteered as a NYC[x] Innovation Fellow to lend her skills for digital transformation of government services in NYC agencies. She is a proud Bronx resident and alumna of Lehman College with a B.A. in Computer Science.
Ro is serving with Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY-09) and working on issues related to technology and justice.
