Where They're Serving: Placements for our 2022 Fellows

After meeting with several Congressional Offices, our 2022 Fellows have selected where they will be spending their fellowship!

Meet our 2022 class of Fellows:

  • Ben Swartz is serving with Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) and supporting issues related to digital platforms, data privacy, and intellectual property.

  • Christian Perez is serving with Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and supporting issues related to Medicaid data analysis, healthcare data privacy, and public health IT/surveillance modernization efforts.

  • Eric Lukoff is serving with Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) and supporting a variety of tech and telecommunications issues.

  • Jack Cable is serving on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee under Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI) and supporting issues related to cybersecurity, misinformation, and disinformation.

  • Jennifer Hernandez is serving with the newly announced House Digital Service, where she will help create a data roadmap and proof of concept that enables data-driven decision-making for the House.

  • Joel Burke is serving with Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX-11) and supporting issues related to technology, defense, and energy.

  • Lauren Lombardo is serving with Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) and supporting on a variety of current and emerging technology issues.

  • Maia Hamin is serving with Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) and supporting issues related to privacy, cybersecurity, and the oversight and transparency of data use.

  • Ro Encarnacion is serving with Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY-09) and supporting issues related to technology and justice.

  • Seeyew Mo is serving with Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) and supporting issues related to cybersecurity, technology, and national security.
