After completing our orientation and meeting with several Congressional Offices, our January 2023 Fellows have decided where they’ll be serving for the rest of their fellowships!
Meet our January 2023 Fellows:
Andre Barbe is serving the Senate Commerce Committee Minority Staff and working on issues related to AI, semiconductors, data privacy, and connectivity.
Ishvaraus Davis is serving Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY-16), working on a variety of issues such as AI use and ethics, the future of work, federal IT modernization, and the future of transportation.
Andrew Eich is serving the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party Majority Staff and working on emerging issues related to Strategic Competition between the US and CCP, such as cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI ethics.
Sean Leahy is working for Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) working on defense tech procurement and cybersecurity issues.
Devanshi Nishar is serving the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee Majority Staff working on technology and privacy issues across the committee's jurisdiction, such as data privacy and AI ethics.
Ashley Nowicki is working for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and supporting issues pertaining to the judiciary, national security, oversight, and ethics, such as data privacy and connectivity.
Raine Sagramsingh is working for Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) and is working on cybersecurity, technology, and national security issues.
Sophie Song is serving Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) supporting a range of tech issues including privacy, labor, and algorithmic accountability.
Matthew Spence is working for Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) working on cyber security, privacy, AI, customs modernization, foreign policy issues.
Jasmine Suarez is serving the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs (HSGAC) Majority Staff and is working on multiple issues, including cybersecurity, AI, defense tech procurement, and federal IT modernization.
